Pickaxes Skill
Pickaxes is a skill in Valheim that determines your aptitude with a pickaxe. You unlock this skill when you first craft a pickaxe. The first pickaxe can be crafted after defeating the first boss in Valheim. Pickaxes do damage to rocks and ores.
Effects of leveling pickaxes skill
- +1% damage per level for +100% damage at level 100 (max level)
Rocks and ores actually count as enemies. Every chunk of rock or ore has health and when it loses its health, it is destroyed. Once destroyed the items appear on the ground. At max pickaxes level your pickaxes will do double damage to rocks and ores.
