The Mitraen Ankh in Conan Exiles is the most basic religious tool for the followers of Mitra. This item allows players to collect lingering essence off the corpses of dead humanoids. This essence can be used at the Shrine of Mitra to craft a variety of religious items. It can also be used in conjunction with other materials at a later date to upgrade the shrine to the next tier.

In order to craft the Mitraen Ankh players will need to put 5 branches and 20 stone into the shrine. After that is complete players can click the Mitraen Ankh icon in the crafting screen of the shrine, and then click the craft button at the bottom of that window.

This tool is the backbone of a Mitra society. Players simply whack a corpse one time to get a lingering essence. only one lingering essence can be obtained per corpse, so players will have to do quite a bit of work to get a lot. The lingering essence can be used to either craft manifestations of zeal, or Ambrosia.

In order to do any of this players need to have the Acolyte of Mitra crafting recipe unlocked. They can do this with 50 knowledge points, or by finding the NPC who can teach it for free.

The Mitraen Ankh also looks pretty cool. Some people hold it while walking around just to look cool. Because of its uses, this item is a requirement to ever summon the avatar Mitra in Conan Exiles.
