As you infiltrate the Order surveillance center, Rush assigns an optional objective to recover four pieces of Order contraband. These items are scattered throughout the building, and finding them requires careful exploration. This guide provides step-by-step instructions to locate each piece while dodging enemies and navigating the structure’s layout.
Step-by-Step Guide to Recover Order Contraband
Follow these steps to collect all four pieces of Order contraband in the surveillance center. Be prepared for enemy encounters, including Watchmen and Armature foes, which are weak to Shock and Corrosive damage. Equip appropriate weapons to make combat smoother.
Contraband #1: Southeast Ground Floor
Enter the surveillance center from the east side of the building. Proceed straight ahead until you reach the southeast corner of the ground floor. You’ll find a room here containing the first piece of Order contraband. Interact with the glowing item to collect it. This area may have a few enemies, so clear them out or sneak past to grab the contraband quickly.
Contraband #2: Northeast Ground Floor
After collecting the first piece, exit the room and head north across the ground level. You’ll pass under an overhang, which leads to an intersection. To your front right, in the northeast corner, is another room. Enter this room to find the second piece of Order contraband. Be cautious, as enemies may patrol this area. Clear them out or dash in to grab the item and move on.
Contraband #3: Upper Floor Maze
Next to the room with the second contraband, you’ll find a staircase to the right (or left if exiting the room). Climb these stairs to enter an upper floor that feels like a bit of a maze. Follow the path straight across the room until you reach a climbable surface. Scale it to reach the next floor, then head to your front left through a door. Continue up another set of stairs until you find a ladder. Climb the ladder, and along the way, you’ll spot the third piece of Order contraband in one of the open areas. It’s easy to miss, so keep an eye out for the glowing item as you ascend.
Contraband #4: Near the Hatch
After grabbing the third contraband, continue forward and turn left, following the left wall. This path leads you through a door (either straight ahead or to the right, depending on your angle). Proceed through the door and climb another set of stairs. You’ll encounter more enemies here, so stay alert. Eventually, you’ll reach a ladder leading to a hatch at the top of the building. Instead of jumping down the hatch, backtrack a few steps and look around. The fourth and final piece of Order contraband is located on a small ledge, about five to eight feet below the hatch. It’s easy to overlook, so scan the area carefully to spot the glowing item.
Tips for Success
- Enemy Management: The surveillance center is crawling with Order forces. Use Shock damage for shields and Corrosive damage for armor to take down enemies efficiently.
- Exploration: The contraband items glow, but they can blend into the environment. Take your time to check corners and ledges, especially in the maze-like upper floors.
