Yakuza: Like a Dragon Absolute Shield locations guide
If you're here then you're probably wondering how to get the Absolute Shield in Yakuza: Like a Dragon without playing Shogi. Well apparently there is a way, but only if you're willing to wait until the very final chapter of the game. This Yakuza: Like a Dragon Guide will show you an alternative way to get the Absolute Shield.
Near the end of the game Kasuga and his gang are finally allowed to go to Kamurocho, the town he grew up in. This unlocks a bunch of new shops. One of these shops is called Le Marche. This shop is on the main road of Showa Street, which we outline below.
In this shop are a bunch of insanely expensive items. Also be warned, rumor on the internet has it that you can't obtain the absolute shield here until you've acquired it from Shogi. We can confirm this is not the case since we never played Shogi and the absolute shield is available here. At the same time, we didn't check this shop until after we had beaten the entire game, so if there was a point where the shop was available but the absolute shield was not, we would not have known.
The inventory of the shop looks something like the following:
As you can see, this shop has a bunch of totally insane weapons and armor. If you were looking for something expensive and rare, le marche is probably the place. This is where to buy the Absolute Shield in Yakuza: Like a Dragon. There are other ways to get the Absolute Shield without playing Shogi. Rumor has it that there's a part time hero quest that gives the Absolute Shield. We cannot confirm or deny this since we have yet to complete that part of the game. We also wonder about the millenium tower and other dungeons. If we find more Absolute Shield Locations in Yakuza: Like a Dragon, we will return to this page and update it with more ways to get the Absolute Shield.
