The fastest way to get gold insects in Yakuza: like a Dragon is to use the Sotenbori battle arena. The first few rounds of the battle arena give golden bugs. It's an easy way to get golden bugs in Yakuza: Like a Dragon.

As for the dungeons and missions. Be sure to check every item on the ground and you'll find golden bugs here and there throughout the game. Once you get to the later stages of the game there seem to be golden insects all over the place in the main story missions.
