BagginsTV, a prominent YouTuber and Twitch streamer made a guide on the best perks / upgrades for each of the essence hunters in Crucible. The Crucible video below will show you some of the best possible builds for each of the hunters. These are obviously subject to change in later balancing patches if Relentless Games decides to change any of them.

Every essence hunter in Crucible gets different choices for their level 1 upgrades, level 3 upgrades, and level 5 upgrades. Some of these upgrades make a substantial difference to the gameplay and can make or beak some characters. Having the wrong upgrade build in Crucible can cost you games, especially when playing against equally skilled players.
