Branches are one of the most basic resource items in Conan Exiles. Branches can be found laying all over the ground in various environments in-game. There's a much faster way to collect branches however, and that is by chopping down trees with one of the three axes.

The number of branches that players will receive per tree is dependent upon the quality of the axe. The most basic is the stone axe, followed by the iron axe, with the best being the steel axe. The stone axe can be learned very early on and is what players will find themselves using for the majority of the early game. Later on when resources aren't as big of a deal, players will find themselves using either iron or steel axes to collect branches very quickly off of trees.

While branches are one of the most basic resources in the game, they're not quite as important as Wood or Stone. Regardless, branches are used in quite a few items and recipes, especially at lower levels. Players will find themselves collecting quite a few branches early on in Conan Exiles.
