The stone pick is one of the most basic and essential Conan Exiles items for low level players. With this item players can collect stone from stones, iron from iron stones, and coal from coal stones. The picks are also the only way to gather bark from trees, as opposed to getting branches with the hatchet.

The stone pick can be crafted thanks to the survivalist recipe which is learned by default. This recipe cannot be unlearned, but also costs 0 knowledge points.

A stone pick takes 5 branches and 5 stones to craft, making it one of the cheapest and easiest items to craft in the game. When players first start off, they can generally pick up the resources for a stone pick off the ground before even getting out of the starter desert.

A stone pick isn't very good for combat. While better than fighting with bare hands, the stone pick only offers 19 health damage points. The biggest benefit of using the stone pick as opposed to fisticuffs is the extended range, making it much easier to hit enemies without missing.

Overall the stone pick is the most basic and most useful beginner item in all of Conan Exiles.
